Synopsis
......................................................................................................................................................

BODY MIND SOUL explores the question of what gives a great book its ability to deeply affect the reader, and how translating that book into a digital medium alters that ability.

Part one of this web site is an introduction of the concepts of BODY MIND and SOUL as they relate to the printed book and its ability to affect the reader.

Part two outlines how these concepts change when one medium for literature is traded for another, the pros and cons of digital media as a vehicle for literature that was originally written for printed media, and how to minimize the alteration of the original in its translation into digital form.

Part three questions what ingredients great books contain in their physical and conceptual componnents that allows them to deeply affect the reader, and the forms these ingredients take in both printed and digital media.
